Ask on WhatsAppTinted windows are prohibited on public service vehicles under Kenya’s Traffic Rules (Rule 54A). For private cars, the High Court in July 2014 overturned a police directive that sought to ban tints outright. Windows must still not be fitted with reflective material, and police can stop vehicles whose occupants can’t be seen. We fit non-reflective films and will advise a sensible shade for the front windows. Rules and enforcement can change, so check current NTSA guidance.
PPF is a thick, clear urethane film that physically absorbs stone chips and light scratches, and premium films can self-heal minor swirls with heat. Ceramic coating is a thin chemical layer that adds gloss and makes washing easier, but it doesn’t stop chips. The two can be combined.
Partial front covers the areas that take the most stone chips; full front adds the whole bonnet and wings; full body protects every painted panel. We’ll recommend an option for how you drive.
